Description of Sample Rate Error Fixup:

Ratefix will analyze and attempt to repair damage done to audio (.wav) files that have suffered a digital transfer between two devices running off different clocks. Eg: A file output at 44.1kHz from one device clocked into a following device at 48kHz.

Ratefix is not a Sample Rate Convertor. It will remove extra samples that have been inserted into the data and re-write the Sample Rate information in the file header back to what it was supposed to have been.

Ratefix limitations:It will only tackle situations where the source sample rate was lower than the destination sample rate.
