IntelLAB-NETCOMMS enables computers to communicate with modems and other serial devices that work on the RS232 protocol, running on the Microsoft .NET Framework . This communications control allows you to add both simple and advanced serial port communications to your .NET applications very quickly. This NET component is built using 100% managed native code and takes care of all low level windows API calls to hardware registers. All that is then needed is the knowledge of the command/data structure for the device of interest. NETCOMMS is designed for use within Microsoft's Visual Studio .NET development tools like VB.NET and C#.
