Description of SoftEstimate - Single user/Stand-alone:

SoftEstimate is a full implementation of the RAD-Estimate model. It has functionality to implement several complexity-models for different scopes, based on a template system. It contains all the drivers as defined in the RAD-Estimate model and calculates full schedule estimates based on all available information. SoftEstimate can automatically create full estimate documentation, including a "ready to deliver" estimate report that details all the drivers, summarizes the whole project into a one-page total view and shows all the available scenarios. It can also print schedule estimates for the whole project and specific schedule estimates for each separate role/function to aid in setting up the actual project planning.
